@ellobetchess 1. Low risk is not nonexistent. 2. I've had IVs before, so I don't mind a needle being in my arm a little longer. Not sure how they're going to miss the correct dosage if they start out with the right dosage in the needle (not that one less microgram is going to make that much of a difference anyway). 3. I'm not a cow and it isn't a slaughterhouse. If it takes an extra minute to make absolutely sure that it's done right, so be it. First, do no harm. If I want to play fast and loose with injections, I'll become a drug addict.

Is it possible that the difference in hospitalization length in the UK and SA is caused by different standards on when to release a patient?
