  1. I'd say that's what we're all banking on. It's pretty much the same idea behind the boosters. The idea is to get something into your system that will increase immunity in the short term, so that we're better protected against worse variants. Given the givens of what's happening in South Africa, I'd say that's exactly what's happening. Everyone is getting hit with Omicron, beating it, getting an immunity boost and smothering Delta.

  2. Yeah, I think I'll go ahead and "boost" using Omicron when it hits my area. I already have sniffles, sore throat, mild cough, etc all Winter, from working outside. I'm really sorry your government is giving you no choice in the matter.
