  1. She had ten months left to her drug possession sentence. If negotiations kept going that long, she would have been out before Halloween. Meanwhile, the marine who was wrongfully imprisoned for spying is still looking at something like 17 years. I'm real sorry if she has to go ten more months without her weed but the priority should be the one who isn't going to be out in less than a year.
