  1. It's what I'm watching for. Plug-in hybrids are the right way to go for a whole lot of people in this Country, including me. I want pure electric for running around town, and gas station convenience for when my wife and I run across the State/out of State for an event, festival, etc (which happens a lot). I'll live with the standard hybrid if they offer AWD but my number one choice is a plug-in.

  4.  @Dularr  Not really. I don't have a problem with their current hybrid setup (other than the lack of AWD). I'd just prefer the ability to choose between electric and gas, to optimize mileage myself. Personally, I think Plug-in hybrids are a best case compromise for the majority of people.

  5. Lies. The Rav4 Prime is a $40,000 SUV. They're not going to design a new body around one and then drop the price by $15,000. Try $35,000+

  6. Looking to buy a new vehicle in about a year. If, at that time, I can walk onto a lot and buy a Maverick, it will most likely be the one I buy. If there's an AWD, plug-in hybrid version by then, I'll sleep on said lot to wait for delivery.
