  1. I'd say it's about time for the "jocks" and the "frat boys" to return us to a natural balance. The problem is that the "nerds" have become the leaders in industry. They are living out every sci fi movie where the amoral genius does whatever he wants, without any concern for the consequences to society at large. This is completely unnatural and will lead to our destruction. Every evil genius needs someone to stand on their neck once in a while and tell them "NO." Otherwise, they'll simply continue to destroy society and then leave to live out their days in their own, private paradises. Just because we can automate everything, that doesn't mean we should. If it takes a threat of violence to turn the tide, so be it. If it takes actual violence, then that's what needs to happen. These people are doing interviews where they smile for the camera and admit that they're fully aware of what they are doing to us and have no intention of stopping. What if Hitler had been arrested before he started the Holocaust? What if Stalin had been overthrown before the great famines? What if the tech heads were put in check before they brought about complete societal collapse? I really don't think "Welfare checks for all" is the answer.
