Hundreds of thousands of parades going on today. A shooting happens at one of them and you see this as justification for your paranoia? Wow.

No scarier than it has ever been. There is far less to fear today than throughout history.

Then don't jaywalk, don't get into drug/gang activity, and do plenty of cardio. Car accidents, gang/drug crime and heart disease have a much better chance of killing you than a random active shooter. Truth be told, there are dozens of things more likely to kill you but I really didn't want to delve that deep into making a list. You get the point. Perspective is key. Don't give yourself a heart attack worrying about something that likely won't happen to you.

@zaiken639 Are you ignoring that most of those "mass shootings" are gang related? Don't join a gang or hang out in horrible neighborhoods. You'll be fine.

You'll die of heart disease, diabetes, or some other extremely common cause...while trying to avoid getting struck by lightning (essentially the same odds).Way to go...

@junodonatus4906 Is there a mass shooting every other week? There are fatal car accidents every day. There are drownings nearly every day. People are stabbed and beaten to death every week. The world is a dangerous place. If every other thing that kills people occurred less than mass shootings, we'd be in really good shape.
