  1. We used to have them. They were made of paper. They worked just fine and biodegraded like any paper product. They got pushed out by plastic because the tree huggers convinced the general populous that paper products were evil (because they supposedly caused deforestation) and plastic would save the world. The irony is delicious.

  2. We were using paper straws just fine until Lefty tree huggers came along and told everyone that paper was killing the planet, so we should convert to using plastic products. Good call...

  5. Lil Mistake What? They didn't protest paper because they thought it wasn't recyclable. They protested it because they wanted to stop deforestation (even though most paper comes from groves that are constantly replanted, specifically for making paper). That's why they were called tree huggers. Understand a topic before presuming to call others stupid.
