@frankpaya690 A) His defense is paid for. The public donated to pay for his legal fees. B) There are no public places in this Country where free citizens aren't allowed to be. The situation he put himself in was created by other people's criminal activity. Are you really trying to claim that we should just let criminals decide where we are and are not allowed to go? Nope, sorry. Not gonna happen. Anyone should be able to stand on a sidewalk with a protest going on, without fear of being attacked. As for riots, they should be met with force. Armed store owners and their kin, on rooftops and in front of stores, in the LA riots, are a perfect symbol of Americanism. We will not be bullied by groups of criminals. It's really that simple.

@frankpaya690 I'm emotional, yet you're the one making personal attacks on my character and my ability to raise a family. Sure, buddy. Okay. Meanwhile, back in the real world, he stated his reasons for being there and for being armed. If you don't think they're legitimate, that would be your problem. The jury will decide for themselves, without any consideration for how you feel about it. Pretending to be on his side now doesn't actually make you right. It's just a way to try to turn the tables when you don't have a counter argument. A cute trick but hardly original.
