  1. California politicians don't have to justify anything. They have a solid super-majority and will keep it for the foreseeable future. They officially decided mail-in voting was going to be permanent after the Newsom recall failed. They don't actually need the lock-downs at this point. Newsom is simply pandering to the far Left, to help him when he eventually runs for POTUS.
