  1. Ignoring the fact that a 60 second response time sounds pretty unlikely, how about the fact that a response time that short didn't save everyone? I'm not putting down the police; they rolled in with the quickness! I'm saying that even at 60 seconds, people died and others were injured. Tell me again how people shouldn't be allowed to carry firearms because waiting for police is the better option.

  2. Old man Jenkins Cool story. Do you have a better (and realistic) solution, or do you just think guns are icky, so you come up with flimsy arguments not to have them?
