  1. The fact that so many are moving from California to Texas is the exact reason that when I move, I'm not going to Texas. They'll only destroy the Lone Star State. I'm a Constitutionalist. I can't abide watching the next State I move to being turned into the next California. Good luck, Texas.

  2.  @keelychow4569  Sorry but I've got my new State picked out, already. I'm not mentioning it online (don't want any Californians getting any ideas about moving there) but it's not Alabama. Beautiful State, though and some of the nicest people I've met were Alabamans.

  4.  @uclajd  Yes, I'm sure the vast number of native Californians who are Democrats became that way because of immigration... Meanwhile, it's not effecting every State in that way. Also, if you think my moving to a State that almost perfectly aligns with my positions (to help keep it that way, with my vote) rather than staying in California and fighting a lost battle - is idiotic...I don't think we have much to discuss, here. We clearly have very different views. You have every right to yours and I have no interest in changing them. Have a nice life.

  13. lorem ipsum Trump's an old school, New York Democrat. He ran on a ticket he knew he could win on, because today's Democrats are nothing like yesterday's. What's worse is that he's not going to be effective enough to strengthen your cause. He'll only piss off enough people to make the pendulum swing too far in the other direction. He was the lesser of two evils but I hate to think about what's going to replace him. Hey, how do you Alt-Righters feel about having the first Jewish trans-lesbian President? That's probably what's in store, now that the Right is eating itself.

I get that we're supposed to be playing some ridiculous political football game, where everyone cheers for their "team" but trying to associate the actions of a madman with your opposition is asinine. Hitler wasn't a "Far-Right Fascist" or a "Far-Left Socialist." Hitler was everything bad that exists within humanity, rolled up into one man. His various actions and orders can be divided up among the sides and distributed like hate-mongering playing cards. How about we all work on agreeing that he was a monster and just move on? This division really is going to destroy us. Anyone who is still peddling such - instead of looking for ways to fix the divide - is actively working towards our destruction. I don't want my beloved country to end up a footnote of history, like Rome. If you want to debate legitimate issues, great. Playing the "No, Hitler was on your team" game is just disgusting.

  23. Exactly. Why we're still trying to "your team" a dead psychopath is beyond me. There are very few people in this country who agree with Hitler's actions. Most have fewer brain cells than teeth (and that's really saying something about some of them). It's empty posturing for the sake of it.
