@youraverageimperialguard7932 California has a high crime rate, terrible schools, some of the worst fires in the nation and roads that can absolutely destroy the underpinnings of your average sedan. We also have more taxes being dumped into the State than any other. It seems like that money isn't going where it's supposed to be, let alone these "extra initiatives" that never do a damn bit of good. Or am I wrong? Please, tell me how many fewer homeless people there are in California, with the decades and decades of billions of dollars being (supposedly) allocated for alleviating the problem? Where is that money going? The math says the homeless problem should have already been handled years ago. That is, if the money were actually going towards helping the homeless. Of course, that doesn't take into account that you're full of shit and the corrupt politicians are pocketing most of the money, so...

Interesting. Now let's tweak the opening line a little and see what happens. Harvey's trailer was destroyed by a tornado 13 years ago, here in the Midwest. He chose to stay and wander the streets, instead of looking for a way to get back on his feet. Yeah, that's called a lazy idiot. He even dares to scream about there being no housing. NEWSFLASH: Nobody is keeping you there. If there's no way for you to live well in LA, MOVE THE HELL OUT OF LA!

Typical city kid. My family of four is doing quite well on $54,000/year here in California. My wife and I were simply smart enough to stay away from the money pits, like LA and San Francisco. I own an 1850sq/ft, 4 bedroom home and two cars. I'll grant you that it's hard to live comfortably in an urban shit-hole for that much but then, who in their right mind would want to live in one, anyway?
