I'm pretty sure they banned conversion therapy in most States, back when parents were trying to "straighten" out their kids. I'd be willing to bet that the wording of those laws would disallow this type of stuff as well. Maybe it's time for parents to start thumbing through the law and press charges.

Nothing wrong with knowing how to protest - it's a Constitutional right. I think all kids should understand their rights before they graduate, as that's around the age they gain full access to them. It's a very involved subject, so it should be taught from primary school on through high school. I protest gun control here, in California, whenever possible. It's one of the many tools we have against government overreach.

@Dennis-nc3vw That is not a version of what they were saying, at all. They called pedophilia a sexuality, which means they don't see it as a mental disorder but as a natural proclivity, akin to heterosexuality. Furthermore, many criminals are victims of something terrible. That's pretty much how criminality and depravity exists, is through paying it forward. You're basically rationalizing away all need for the criminal justice system. Personally, I think we need a new approach. Anyone who gives their life to protect children is a hero in my book. I think we need to promote that idea, heavily. Any pedo who makes the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of protecting the children they "love," should have their name added to a huge memorial. We should have a day of celebration, commemorating their sacrifice. They should be given the choice to be remembered as true heroes, rather than feeling like they have to live a long, shameful life in the shadows.

Truthfully, when I first heard this story, I figured Brittney was a blonde-haired, white girl (lotsa Brittneys out there are). My position didn't change when I found out she was black. Yes, Russia's laws are crap. We already knew that. Don't go to Russia and mess around, no matter what color you are. They will ruin your life. It's that simple.

He sides with whoever will give him the best business deal. He threw the second amendment under the bus to win points with Democrats. Why? To try to get more funding for a wall, thathe claimed we weren't going to have to pay for at all.

Why do Leftists only allow their kids out of the house to go to school? I mean, I have to assume that's the case, since they always claim that homeschooling keeps kids from interacting with anyone else. My kids have active lives away from home. They go out and experience the real world. They experience all manner of different people and opinions, rather than just the ones that are approved by Leftist school boards. Oh, I see. That's probably a problem to them, too...

She changed her name to Whoopi Goldberg at the start of her career because (she claimed) it sounded more white and would help her get more gigs (a la Operation: Trick Whitey). I have both my kids. They're teenage boys who eat like they've got tapeworms and are growing like weeds. They don't cost me $1200/month/kid. Thry definitely don't cost twice that much (child support should be half of what it takes to raise a child). Also, yes it is a problem for you to take $50 away from your child and use it to buy yourself a meal. Child support isn't for you, it's for your child. If you want a meal, get a job and buy it yourself. You're a strong, confident woman who don't need no man, remember?

@bestill6635 Protesting isn't asking permission. Protesting is disagreeing with the fact that an unjust law exists in the first place. It's about trying to pace the way towards a future wherein our children don't have to worry about consequences for actions that shouldn't have any. Think deeper.

Coming out of the closet is when you tell people that you're gay. It's something gay people have to do. Lie! NOBODY has to announce their sexuality. It's not the big deal it once was. You're not "closeted" if you don't make your sexuality the focus of who you are. It just makes you a regular person. I know plenty of people who never had a "coming out." They just live their lives, as though they don't need special attention for being gay/lesbian/bisexual.

Now, Ford is advertising to one of their key demographics and suddenly everyone's upset? Are you aware that the entirety of the alphabet community is a larger group than just the lesbians? So, why is it okay for Subaru to target lesbians but not okay for Ford to target the whole enchilada? It's a damn rainbow painted on a truck. It's not like they strapped a rubber dildo on the front and called it a hood ornament. Meanwhile, if they had Charlotte McKinney sitting on the hood, spread eagle, in a string bikini, wiping "mayonnaise" off her face, that would be defended as "Hey, sex sells." On the other side of the aisle, they would defend the dildo and disparage McKinney. The hypocrisy of this generation is truly breathtaking.
