Yeah...I'm not seeing the problem. MoviePass' target demographic is not the people who are going to pay extra for the "added experience" theater most of the time, anyway. Those like my wife and I - who do occasionally take in a 3D movie - would still pay extra for it, even if we had MoviePass (since we gladly pay extra for it without it). We would certainly go see more movies with it, which would result in more overpriced concession sales. If MoviePass is losing money, they should obviously adjust for it. The "sell at a loss and make it up in volume" model is asinine to someone with even a fifth grade math comprehension level. As it stands though, it's their money to waste. If some consumers get a chance to take advantage of that and - for once - make out better than the corporation they're doing business with...so be it. I'm not going to shed any tears over people not getting screwed. So, can we add AMC to your list of corporate sponsors? This comes off as paid sniper fire.
