  1. This seems like a very expensive way of knowing....exactly what anyone who lives in any given place knows. Honestly, do the police really need expensive software to tell them where the "bad parts" of town are? I guess if the software is "objectively" profiling, the police won't get in as much trouble as if they just patrol the obvious areas.
