  1. Not surprising that Netflix would surpass HBO. HBO: Tied to Cable/Satellite subscription. $10-$25/month (on top of cable bill). Available on some devices. Netflix: $8/month for anyone, regardless of other services. Available on virtually all devices, set tops, etc. Hopefully this will push HBO to go independent and let cable-cutters get in on the action. It's not like they *need* the Cable companies anymore.
