Be glad it's at least still out there. My 4th gen Trans Am got T-boned by a guy in a minivan who was drunk and on meth. Totaled my car. Body was twisted bad enough that they couldn't straighten it. I still can't believe my wife and I walked away from it.

Who needs a backup camera on a Durango? They're not large and have plenty of glass. If you need more than mirrors, you shouldn't be driving.

Better to get some Cooper Discoverer AT or the ilk. BFG are for richies. Those of us who daily and 4x with S10 Blazers don't spend that kind of scratch on rubber.

This. It's not even a big vehicle and it has plenty of visibility. I'd hate to see him try to drive a work van.

I'd daily that. I used to get 27-29 mpg, commuting with my F body Trans Am. I'd assume I could get better than 30 mpg with this.

How much do you have to spend to get a new SUV that can do this course with this much ease? They never should have taken them off of truck frames (and axles). SUVs today are mostly just station wagons.

This just means the lenders - that repossessed all of those vehicles that they sold to people who they knew weren't going to be able to pay their loan - are seeing that the interest rates are high enough that they're willing to sell them off at a loss. They know that when those vehicles sell again, they'll make their money back and then some. Meanwhile, the poor schmucks who got duped into panic-buying vehicles at insanely inflated prices are left holding the bag, as far as any remainder to the debt. They just did to car buyers what the mortgage companies did to home buyers before the last recession. The difference is, nobody is talking about punishing car dealers and lenders (not that they actually punished the mortgage companies but at least it was a topic of discussion).
