  1. After the last shooting, there were a whole lot of Democrats talking about compromise. Wanting to know if gun owners were willing to compromise but never mentioning what their half of the compromise would be. Now we have an opportunity for real compromise. I propose this: We'll allow you to add bump stocks to the NFA's list of restricted items if you will allow us to remove SBS/SBRs from the list. What do you say? Are you actually willing to compromise or was that just code for "Give us whatever we want"?

  2. Not at all. Republicans are the ones who wanted to use trained law enforcement officers to reduce the threat of school shootings. It was the Democrats who didn't want that. You want your money protected by armed guards but not your children. Don't worry though. In my primarily Conservative city, we are happy to have the police protecting our children. We support law enforcement and teach our children to do the same. Keep pretending your "Gun Free Zone" signs stop bullets. I'm banking they will continue to be useless. At least my kids are safe. Are yours?
