And California. Third lowest average IQ in the entire Country. Lower than most of the South, including Florida. That's just sad.

Come on Briggs, you used to live here. You know that for every intelligent person you meet in California, there's a hoard of vapid airheads, pulling the average IQ down. I mean, really think about it. You have to have interacted with plenty of these nimrods when you were here. The only difference is that they don't appreciate banjo music or an honest day's work. That's why the South laughs whenever Californians try to claim some intellectual high ground. They know that having an expensive phone and paying too much for housing doesn't make you intelligent.

@Bunnyroo7 Its share of failing schools? I'd say it has more than its share. The State with the highest GDP and a surplus budget, ranks 40th in K-12 schooling. 40th! Not only does it have more than its share but unlike many other States, it has absolutely no excuses for such numbers. But at least they're frank about it...
