  1. In thise case, their reaction to arson is to ban fire extinguishers. That's what we're really talking about, here. Someone commits a criminal act and the government wants to ban the things we use to protect ourselves from such acts. Then they claim we should just watch our houses burn while we wait for the fire department.

  2. Are they banning the 1911? How about the Colt New Army? The Kentucky rifle? The musket? Black powder cannons? All weapons of war. All missing from this bill.

  3. Let them try. States are already moving towards full Constitutionality when it comes to the 2A. The Supreme Court is also leaning hard in that direction. Let them overreach, so we can slap that hand. If they think they're going to expand this to include all semi-autos - when they're having a hard enough time getting it passed in its current form - let them try.

  4. Columbine was committed during the AWB, with weapons that complied with said ban. Apparently, it didn't do much good, since that is largely considered the beginning of the school shooting era.
