  1. The ATF should have no need to classify specific pistol braces. They're pistol braces. They are legal. Furthermore, none of that is relevant. They didn't write a rule saying that all new pistol braces on the market have to get approval. They wrote a rule saying that everyone who bought a type of accessory - that was deemed perfectly legal - will become felons for the crime of simply continuing on with their lives. That means anyone who doesn't know about the new rules will be de facto criminals.
