@hitthegoat The guys kicking in the door didn't draw their guns to help them lift a television. They were going to kick in the door and shoot the tenant, if he lied about not being home. I hope you're never faced with a similar situation. You might actually have to make a hard choice between two bad outcomes.

@joebidden4914 That really depends. Stucco can be pretty effective at stopping light loads and hollow points. Especially those that were already fired through a door that sturdy. Chances are fair that, if any rounds made it into the next apartment, they were no longer at lethal velocity.

I'm actually glad to see this. The kids is going to get what he's going to get, regardless of what lawyer he has. The parents, on the other hand, have just showed the judge and jury exactly what kind of parents they are. This could well play a role in their conviction and sentencing. I hope the judge is mentally adding an extra five years to their sentences right now.

@Piant_Genis It's illegal to buy a handgun for a minor. A 15-year-old is only allowed to own rifles, not handguns.

If he doesn't get a very, very long prison sentence, I feel like we're going to hear about this family again...except the parents will be listed as the victims.

 @Udeolecrab You're lying. Either nobody has guns in your Country or five people per year are killed by guns. People can't be killed by guns if there aren't any guns.

He reminds me so much of my brother-in-law, it's scary. Such a similar mentality.
