If I had the chance to swim with a 26 foot Green Anaconda, I wouldn't waste time changing, either.

@Joe-d4s4x What are you talking about? They don't repeatedly strike after wrapping their prey. They strike and coil, hold until the pulse stops, them begin eating. Also, having been struck by a 12 foot Retic and a 14 foot Burm (and a bunch of other snakes but I digress), it's nothing like being hit by a boxer. It's more like getting hit by a grade schooler, except you get some scratches left in you from the teeth. You watch way too many movies. Try documentaries next time.

@semoneg2826 What does that mean "once they can wrap you they go for the kill?" Do you have any idea how many constrictors are free handled every day? If they "went for the kill" any time they had the opportunity, there would be almost no one left in the reptile hobby. They're that popular.

Did you want him to strip down to his boxers?

Other than the size of this particular anaconda...no. Those were some of the worst representations of snake behavior in history. It makes sense, though. Amovie about how anacondas actually behave around people would be incredibly boring. Look! It's a giant anaconda! There it goes, slowly cruising past! Have a nice day, Mr. Snake! [roll credits]

Snakes never truly stop growing, until they die. That being said, snakes will shed any time they damage their skin or overstretch it with a large meal. In the wild, it happens all the time.

@martinsimeonov1563 Because he wanted to be able to post the video publicly. Plus, I don't know about you but my first thought when jumping into water full of hostile creatures isn't "Hey guys, wait just a minute while I whip out my wang and butthole! Sure, my clothes would dry out in five minutes in this tropical climate but I just really need to get naked for these animals!"

It did.

That was a Reticulated Python. Their "normal size" is "longest snake on earth."

They were made by the same people who are always seeing Bigfoot but only ever have a 1980s, dollar store camera to take the picture with.

@steelflexy Bigfoot is going to be sad that you're focusing on this. Run back to him.

@neo-filthyfrank1347 And what, pray tell, is so disasterous about my comment? Please, enlighten me because I've never seen any constrictor start wrapping its prey from the feet up - using the center of its body - and then slowly drop its mouth down around the head of the prey. Nor has anyone ever seen an anaconda that big move quickly on land. The whole movie is BS. It's B rated garbage with a few A list actors.
