This should read. “How employees fail to understand large investments in publicly traded companies.” I completely agree with employees earning the wage they deserve. But that isn’t this story. This story is very misleading. I don’t remember anyone crying about Game Stop employees that only made minimum wage while investors had 100x returns. How many shares would one need to buy for one to “owe” a front line employee a raise? How many of you or even them for that matter have their own 401k invested in these same publicly traded companies. Someone please educate these kids on how business, publicly traded companies and investments work. This is why this channel is propaganda and not journalism.

@caliman99 1.) Just because you’re an investor. Doesn’t mean you’re responsible for the companies employees. Example; the Game Stop debacle. 2.) If we did agree, yes. They are responsible. How would you “fairly” distribute the profits of their investment? On that same token. If the hundreds million dollar investment lost money. Could they bill the front line workers for their investment loss? The point I’m making, is would it be fair to collect profits without the finical risk of the investment? If you’re unwilling to accept the losses? I’m a small business owner. I completely understand the customer/employee/company dynamics. I believe everyone should be compensated fairly for the value they bring to the table. Getting the masses to understand and agree to that is the biggest problem. Here is something to think about. All of the customers or potential customers I’ve come in contact with they talk the same game as you do. Never wants to pay someone else even minimum wage. And they always have an excuse why they can’t and someone else should. It’s the core behavioral trates of a socialist. How many people that align with this channel shop on Amazon, buy iPhones and contradict their very statements through their own actions. Again, always with an excuses as to why. I’m willing to bet your post was made through an iPhone. You keep doing you boo. You’re saving the world one virtual signal at a time. 👍🏼

@stephm.3407 I’m going to say you’re 13-16 years of age. How close am I. The biggest generational difference I see. Is when I was a kid. We all knew we were kids with no life experiences. We knew that even if we didn’t agree with the previous generation. There is value in experiences. Today you all literally think you know more than those older than you. Even though, technically speaking. You’ve lived less, done less and experienced less than the previous generation. History and time will not be gentle to your generation. At least we’ll have a permanent and digital reference to reach the next of the errors of yours ways. Narcissism is a hell of a thing.

@caliman99 The law clearly states publicly traded companies have a fiduciary responsibility to the share holders. It’s a pretty good law when you figure that’s where retirement accounts are. Very familiar with socialism vs capitalism. Socialism is the government’s ownership of the means of production. Capitalism is voluntary and agreed upon exchange of goods and services. DMV might be a form of, in many areas as you only have a government options. Small businesses being the other. Yeah, limit options and have them completely controlled by the government because they have a great track record of doing the right thing. You crazy kids. You don’t know it yet. But you’ll go down in the history books of what happens when corporations raise children to believe completely insane notions. At least you’ll be famous. 👍🏼🇺🇸
