Comments by "Papi Chulo" (@par3me) on "EXCLUSIVE: Starbucks Worker FIRED After Revealing Union-Busting Plans" video.
Unions are destroying the working class pushed only by their own greed. When your goal is work less and get paid more there is only one outcome. It’s just basic math that the unions don’t believe apply to them. Thanks public education. Another result of unions. 🇺🇸

CWA lost 50k jobs with AT&T due to their greed and ignorance. Union leadership was told what would happen and their greed for dues and power blinded them. Now they’re all out of work and still pointing fingers. They don’t operate the way they use to. When you build anything on a foundation of do less and take more. The math eventually catches up with you. You can’t avoid math.

@stevenrobertson7069 My exact experience in both California and Arizona with the CWA. From retail worker to telecommunications installer. On both sides of the table. I wish I could say different but this is who they’ve become. They completely lie to get votes while management that opposes can’t even correct the lies. They’re just as corrupt as the corporations. Just not as smart. They haven’t backed the front line worker in decades. They’re only out for their own political and financial interests.

@stevenrobertson7069 I left the front lines just you get into management that voted in support of the union. Shortly after many were regretful and feared speaking up due to retaliation from the union. Ironic I know. This will be a great life lesson that will most likely changed their views in the near future. 🇺🇸

@mydogsbutler I’d love to engage in useful dialogue but you don’t appear to have a basic grasp of business. Life isn’t a movie with an evil rich guy. Please spend some time researching these topics from both angles. It will give you a much better idea on what’s going on and what may or may not work.

@mydogsbutler Please provide a system other than capitalism that has lifted more people from poverty? There isn’t one. I ran many business from small to as large as a fortune 5. I did this for decades. I now own my own business and have a pretty good grasp of the moving parts. For a business to work all three parties need to benefit. The consumer, the worker and the owner/business it’s self. If the consumer doesn’t see value they don’t buy. If the worker doesn’t deem the work fair for the wage they don’t work. If it’s not profitable you don’t have a business. Making a profit doesn’t make you greedy. Just like trying to make as much money as you can for the work you do, doesn’t make you greedy. This notions in just immature and shows a complete lack understanding and forethought.

@mydogsbutler You keep doing you and I’ll keep doing me. We can reflect back upon this in the future and see how things sit. Good luck to you, you seem to have it all figured out. 👍🏼

@mydogsbutler You’re reading what you think you know instead of what I’m actually saying. I don’t think unions have always been a bad thing. Like anything else, with power there is corruption. They started off from a valid place. They were completely needed during the steel boom. Unfortunately they grew and let the money and power blind them. They stopped looking for win/win scenarios and got into politics. They eventually turned into a foundation of less work with more money. Mathematically that doesn’t add up and will always result in failure. This is why unions have been destroying themselves for decades now. I’ve worked on both sides of the fence and it’s just the reality of the situation. Unions could very much have a more productive role. So could politicians though. The power and money is not something they’re willing to give up. I’m for personal responsibility. No excuses and blame for a lack of success or opportunities. If you’re in the US you no longer have any excuses to be successful. The narrative of the wealthy elites oppressing everyone is bullshit outside of our current administration.
