Employees aren’t working 24/7 the plant is open 24/7. This is a good idea to meet demand. Yes, companies need to make profits or else it’s a hobby and no one has jobs. Keep in mind, your retirement accounts are made up of the profits of corporations. I’m not saying the front line workers don’t deserve more. Just trying to paint the other side of this picture that this channel chooses not to. Make decisions and firm thoughts on the problem as a whole. Not one bias side of it.

@jag03ljg Agein, it would be impossible for someone to work 24/7. It’s not an opinion, it’s just a fact. As far as how many days I work. I run a small business by myself, married and have four kids. I couldn’t tell you the last time I wasn’t working. I’m sorry your husband works so many hours away from his family. That’s the big reason I left the corporation I was with. I’d highly recommend a career change. There has never been a better opportunity to make a change. It’s never easy but can be worth it. If he has any interest in the trades he can make great money. If he’s interested in discussing. I’d be more than happy to share my experience making the transition. Don’t forget that you always have options and most of the time the hardest paths are the most rewarding. I wish you a your family well as you work through this.
