Why not start your own business or find another job if they don’t want to pay you what you feel your worth? Seems like one of the over 10 million jobs would be the easiest and most beneficial solutions.

@JasonNZ42 I’m not completely opposed, especially if they’re close within their bargaining. I’m opposed to the “I’m making 15 and want 25 with twice the benefits” using social issues as leverage. I’m not saying that’s exactly what’s happening here. Just using extremes to get my point across.

@Ink Bass We’re socialist, everyone is welcome. Especially the book linkers, they make it all possible. More government control, less citizen rights. Governments always know what’s best for us. 👍🏼🇺🇸

@JasonNZ42 What’s the definition of devaluing a worker? Isn’t pay based on market demand like most things?

@JasonNZ42 no, questioning someone’s motives does not place you in an echo chamber. Knowingly provided false framing and one sided information puts you in an echo chamber. Only hearing one side of anything. Puts you in an echo chamber. Just for the record since it appears you think I favor corporations I don’t. I lump them in with the unions as far as corruption is concerned. I’m completely for small business, less government and more freedoms. I believe in social programs just not how their currently designed.

@JasonNZ42 I stand for what I believe to be right. How many jobs and lives would you watch unions destroy before you spoke up? I’ve spoke my mind to the CWA but they’re so fucking ignorant and arrogant that it never goes anywhere. Maybe someone that’s in a union or about to unionize will do just a little research. Maybe I’ll plant a seed that will create thought. At the end of the day I’m just trying to avoid more destruction that doesn’t need to be. Really non of this plays any factor in my life. Echo chambers are a hell of a place to be.

@JasonNZ42 I expressed my personal experiences over 25 years and both sides of the table. Whenever your goal is to make more and work less. It will always end in failure. This isn’t an opinion. This is their spoken plan and the results are math. You don’t have to like it but it doesn’t make it untrue.

@JasonNZ42 I completely agree with where unions came from. I don’t agree with where they are today. Some of the trade unions are still pretty decent. Outside of the CWA. But they operate completely differently. They bring a skilled laborer that can demand a fair salary to the table. Say a master Electritian. You have to put in the work and meet the needed standards to justify the pay of a master Electritian. “I’ve been here the longest so I should get the most” is a failing model. Look no further than our do no wrong teachers. I love the good ones, but based on results. There ain’t enough of them. “Do less and take more” is a losing model. So no, I’m not completely anti Union. Im against what most of them have become. They prey on the ignorant and suck the front line workers dry until the corporations can use their balance sheets to justify layoffs. Less production and more labor cost. Time to cut expenses and go franchise, contractor etc to save money. The union leaders either know what they’re doing and they’re corrupt or they don’t and they’re incompetent. Either is bad to have running the ship that feeds your family. I’m willing to bet our views on this topic are closer than this discussion eludes to.

@hachi-rokuperformancegroup3987 Unfortunately it’s what parents taught an entire generation. Then schools reinforced these insane and narcissistic tendencies. Once 18 politicians pander and again reinforce. Then the media panders to them for views. Knowing how easy it is to appeal to these narcissist through reconfirming their “struggle”, inability to get a head and lack of income and opportunities. The reality of the situation is that the overwhelming amount of lazy and entitled young adults. Makes it easier than any other time in history to get ahead. Showing up on time and working while you’re getting paid is now a fucking super power. If these kids could just see the reality that’s in front of them. They wouldn’t be condemned to the false realities they believe they live within. Most wouldn’t understand true struggles if they bit them. For over 5 years I’ve said. If it wasn’t for irony and hypocrisy they’d have nothing. With every passing year it gets worse and worse. I personally think we’re at the end of the pendulum and things are finally starting to correct.
