+alhassan elhag I am interested though, most of the games the PSP and Vita got were RPG heavy but both DS and 3DS have some stellar titles in the RPG genre, Ace Attorney and now Monster Hunter has helped the sales of the DS and 3DS, PSP was barely sold anywhere, and all it had left were the titles that appealed to facebook gaming. hell, the DS is still being bought. and there is still DS games being sold, like really? 3DS may be restricted by its region locking but at 60 million units, MHG and FE:Fates (if you are in EU) as well as the new Pokémon Sun and Moon, the 3DS clearly has a roadmap strategy all the way to the next Nintendo handheld and with Sony giving up on the Vita, hopefully some new blood could revive the handheld scene... otherwise the next Nintendo handheld goes challenged by no one, and yes, I'm fully aware Nintendo, Mobile and Sony had the market on lock down but what happened to portable steam machines and the Nividia Shield portable? mind you, its gonna be some time for any tech company that wants to challenge Nintendo in the handheld space, for now, I game on my 3DS... and for the record, its making Sony look bad that the PS Vita is being sold in discrete stores while 3DS are being going off the shelf.

+CODOG OMEGA true, but I hear the memory stick was expensive VS SD memory and even when the PSP was hacked, the PSP GO was a failure that Sony didn't need, Sony cut their own wrists before bleeding to death (which is what the Vita family has been lately)PS Vita TV, discontinued in most regionsPS Vita, effectively dead (except Japan and Asia)Sony did get some backlash, when a hack was found, movie people didn't like the sales for a device that was at the start, and entertainment hub.... sales decreased and took a sharp fall when DS lite came out. DSI also made Sony worry, Nintendo was adding in features to cancel out the PS advantage, finally sales all but died and Xfalcomseed were the only publishers that released PSP games in Australia at least.PSP GO was a problem itself and tried to solve the UMD issue as movie people abandoned the format for DVD and Blu ray, but the absence of a disk drive did Sony in "N64 style" opting to try and expand their globe of influence while Wii and DS stomped the competition was a recipe even the most seasoned investor worry.lastly the nail in the coffin was the memory cards and the high asking point of a PS Vita which had a 3G and WIFI versions, meanwhile Nintendo made the DSI and 3DS handle WEP and WPA security protocols, Nintendo did hit a problematic start because the DS popularity overshadowed the 3DS (and in some cases, continues to over shadow the 3DS family...)
