@luvcheney1 Iraq did NOT HAVE WMD, at the time of the invasion. The sanctions took care of it, the weapons inspectors never found any, in fact it was not Saddam who expelled the inspectors, it was BUSH who withdrew them. Bush literally ate birthday cake while New Orleans drowned, did not lift a FINGER to help, and diverted money, manmpower and materials that was supposed to fix the levy... TO IRAQ. Which had NO WMDs, was not behind 911, was not harboring Al Q'aida.

@luvcheney1 That is because of completely unregulated markets. Between the 30s (when the economy was recovering) and the 80s (when it was deregulated) there were very few speculative bubbles. And none caused massive crashes. I strongly doubt that you are one of those who understands it completely. Economics is not an advanced science, it is more like a black art. When the balance is not exactly right, then bad things happen. And sometimes bad things happen even though the balance is right.

@BionicDance That is not the answer. Liberals don't like fighting dirty, they don't like people who fight dirty. However, there is a third option. Judo. Using the force and power of the Republican attacks against them.

@luvcheney1 Failure to act upon the august 6 memo warning of 911. Failure to install a functioning democracy in Iraq (which is far worse off now than it would have been under Saddam) Failure to not commit war crimes such as torture. Failure during hurricane Katrina. Failure of the whole fucking banking system due to his (further) deregulation of that system. Even his successes (such as the overthrow of Saddam) turned out very, very bad.

@BionicDance Like I said, Judo. No need to hurl chairs, no need to sling mud, the chairs and mud that the Republicans are throwing makes them look bad. Just so long as it is made abundantly clear who it is that is slinging the mud.
