  1. I don't have enough information to go on. If you take a look at Jimmy Savile, he was able to get away with it for literally decades, with bribery, celebrity, threats, influence, power, money, everything. Savile was untouchable. He prayed on the vulnerable, a school for troubled girls, starstruck teenagers, groupies for the bands he highlighted on top of the pops, even a mental hospital. That kind of systematic abuse does not seem to be the case with Clash.

  2. if he knew they were 16, then he is guilty. But I doubt he was doing a "parental figure' grooming thing in a gay sex chatroom. He does not have to. They are already looking for gay sex. If he was doing parental grooming with real life teenage boys, then that is a completely different story.

  3. considering how one of the cases was dropped, it does not look good for the prosecution, unless, of course, he was bought off.
