US might not put troops on the ground but supplying weapons to Taiwan will definitely help defend Taiwan because Taiwan is a small nation with enough population so they don't need troops they only need weapons.

@omarionbayley9721 Yes, i will definitely wants US send its troops to Taiwan to defend it but even if they did not send troops and instead send weapons to Taiwan like they send to Ukraine, I think Taiwan is more than capable of defending itself.

@mageshr495 Coastal or not, you cannot win a war using only missile. To destroyed whole of Taiwan you will need millions of missile. War is not about inflation or deflation, it depends on the will of the peoples to fight. During ww2 european lost everything yet they fight till the end. If you have the will to fight nothing can stop you. You speak as if China will not get effected by fighting with USA.

China too will suffer if western countries ban their products their will be economic crisis in both sides. Do you think China wants to lost their biggest customer?
