  2. Yeah, that's true.. this was a one off...if you can't SEE the car in front, you don;t have a point of reference from which to count. But it's the old rule of thumb.. only go as fast as you need to so that in the event of something appearing in front of you, you can stop safely... this works best when ALL in a line of traffic adhere to that rule... it only takes one numpty....
