So in order to prevent that from happening, she had to be bumped off. TBH, I think all that is nonsense and it was just as it happened.   8. Screens are now a lot more sophisticated. Sonar and radar have come on in leaps and bounds. Granted, submarines are a real threat, but not as much as you think. UW and AWW training (for the RN, anyway) is superb. We learned a LOT as a result of the Falklands conflict.
