Bad signal to send, given Russia had already invaded Crimea. But go ahead and try to spin a different story. Trump was the worst president in US history and will likely be the first to end up in prison for his high crimes. No spin can make that criminal look good. None. It's never a good thing to be under investigation by the feds, multiple states, and the House all at the same time. Not to mention the countless civil suits. Anyone who still supports that Thing after everything we've seen should probably be investigated too, since it's apparent that obeying laws isn't high on their list of priorities.

There are some targets where a mistake could easily be made, that happens. A busy train station isn't such a target. Of course there are civilians there! It would be nice if Russia even tried to avoid civilians, but they actually target them. Blindly hitting cities with cruise missiles is not targeting military assets. It's terrorism.
