If you couldn't already tell by the massive size s class has a COMPLETLY DIFFERENT front grill grill. S class has three curve headlights, e class 2 and c ckass one. S class has thrre tail lights whereas c and e have 2. They all have different front and rear diffusers from each other. Not to mention... S class has far more chrome and more pronounced depth and proportions especially for its light carvings and shoulder's. And the interiors are massively different So yes while they undeniably share similar design language they are still very much distinguishable. Bmw and audi do this too because by your logic 5 series looks lkke mini 7 series and a4 looks like mini a6 just with different lights. So nearly all German companies do this. Frankly there is nothing wrong with this design philosophy as sales suggest. These cars are meant to be under the radar... Hence the concept of stealth wealth.. . so by being similar they blend in well and allow the car not to be flashy. Furthermore this kind of design philosophy is good also because if they looked completly different for instance and someone didn't like the design of the e class they might give up the e classes better interior for a c class or go to another company altogether. So its actually not a bad thing at all and isn't like how you're exaggerating it.

It is light years more advanced in technology, has far more feautres and is more luxurious and comfortable with a miles better looking interior too. Not to mention its faster than the rs6 in acceleration! So yes its supercar like performance. Audi is outdated and behind!

I still appreciate the other cars and like many models from them over their mercedes counter parts (exg m3>c63, rs3>a45) but for this comparison the e class is the best one. How is he biased when he literally in every review can't stop talking about how BMW has the best infotainment system??? To name just one of many examples where I fact they favor bmw..... Like how the x1 beat the mercedes in their test and rs3 beat a45... And those are just two of many examples. So if anything they are actually quite tough on mercedes. Looks are subjective. Rs6 looked the best for when it came out but now its outdated. It still has the best lookijg rear end though. However the Volvo v90 is the most elegant looking the e63s estate has the better front imo amd bmw looks best as a sedan

dsquared2 how is it a fake exhaust? Just because its fully connected to the exhaust pipe? How does that make it fake? Even if we call that fake how is thay a bad thing? It makes it look so much better than that plain circle traditional cliche exhausts. Doing this "fake" way allows youhave the exhaust in a nicer shape anf curve it which better suits the car. Ultimately its there to make it look better which is exactly what it does so fake or not its not a problem

I respect your opinion, rs6 is a proper beast but for now e63 is a better car overall so we have to wait for the new rs6 before we make a proper comparison which will be exciting! I have a merc profile pic because I like the car and I am a fan of Mercedes. Not a fanboy however. Huge difference. Because unlike a fanboy I actually have arguments to support my points and I still appreciate all car companies and what they bring to the table. So I am not just blindly liking mercedes and hating other companies. No, there are actually many models I like over their mercedes counter parts...for example I like the rs3 over the a45 and the m3 over the c63 just to name a few examples. So I am a fan not a fanboy. +James Baggaley You seriously need to get your eyes cheeked if you think it looks like an expensive hyuandi. Seriously. And it does share some resemblance with the older e class interior. The old e class interior's screen was also tucked into the dash for example as is the new one. The old e class interior looks extremely outdated and boring. just a bunch of straight lines. In comparison the new one is far more elegant and classy with nice swooping curves along the cabin and dash.

They look like buffed up chrysler 300s and their interiors are hideously outdated. Literally even a honda civic interior (quality aside) looks better than a rr interior. RR doesn't even have the most basic technology like parking assist which even a ford has! EPIC FAIL for a car that costs as much as a house. So literlally s class is better in nearly very way and yet costs more than 2 times less! Its a bargain! Without the badge more people would admit how overpriced the rr is! And I haven't even talked about maybach which blows rr and bently out of the water even more. ANd mercedes are taxi for a reason. Out of all the companies germany chose mercedes to represent the best of what it as...why? Because mercedes is far more reliable and far more luxurious than bmw so ofcourse they will use mercedes as taxi not other companies. And amg will make you wett your bmw pants especially with the amg gt r which no bmw can touch let alone the project one hypercar!
