That argument is so stupid, he is a fanboy for a reason! b/c mercedes make great cars!

I completely disagree - in person its amazing and it looks like its floating which makes it look really nice as opposed to being stuck onto the dash board. i think tho that if it were bigger maybe more people would like it.
5
***** I don't think it looks cheap. Small maybe. I think if they made it bigger people would change their minds. I sat in it in person however and it was actually good.
5
I couldn't disagree more, I think it looks the best of the bunch, its the most elegant and has the best interior too. And the c63s really looks bad ass!
5
Cheok Zi Hin exactly that argument is old itself ironically. You don't need to be old, you just need to have a bit of cash... Name one BMW that can even touch the amg gt r for example? None ! The Old man's car bs is long gone.
5
Jeppe Werring no its not, of course their will inevitably be some plastic, but its hidden and hard to find, and not noticeable unless your are nit picking and doing a spot check around the whole interior car and even then there aren't that many believe it or not, same goes for the other 3. The quality of the seats and the wood trim finish of the c class is superb! I have sat in almost all these cars so I know! It made feel like I was cocooned in luxury, absolutely amazing!
5
no they are not, its actually looks the most elegant of the bunch imo
4
Piers Blyth how on earth does it look cheap?!?!? The chrome for example makes it look premium. The infotainment you have to see in person to better judge, I also thought it was too small but then I sat in it and realized it's actaully good and not as bad as I thought
4
Adddam not really for me.... In person it's actually good for me But I respect ur opinion
3
***** where are the screws? It looks like it's floating on the dashboard - as opposed to being stuck right on top of it - which I like
3
Jeppe Werring no problem man I still respect your taste even though I don't personally agree with it, but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder ;)
3
Piers Blyth it does not look like plastic chrome at all
3
lol says the person who's probably never sat in it. I have sat in almost all of these at the auto show and the quality is top notch. The c class feels like it cocoons you with luxury, its amazing
3
soccerjonesy how does it seem out of place, I have sat in all these cars too. at the autishow and I know that all of them have high build quality, any oladyics are in hidden places that you would have to do a search for and be seriously looking for, none hag you wouldn't forgive or notice so easily. And how do the merc and audi interiors look out if placec they look amazing whereas I the bmw looks like almost all other bmw interiorsc how is that not out of place?
3
Piers Blyth the amg line makes it look really really sexy, but this one is still not bad either, and takes on a more elegant approach which I still find to be very beautiful but I totally understand your opinion, I respect that no worries.
3
Nicholas Mazzi there is option to tuck it in i think, i went to the auto show and tried it out theres a specific button you press i believe, I forget which one tho as it's been a year since I went
2
sic22l I personally like the s class screen and e class screen better actually just for the size and resolution alone but the c class screen is not as bad as people think at all and rather great actually imo
2
maybe to you, not to me and others
2
Jeppe Werring IN YOUR OPINION To a large part of the rest of us the c class actually looks the best and most elegant. Especially the c63s which just screams to be driven, I would know having seen almost all of these in person
2
Sandouras I disagree, this is a BMW competitor, just look at the c63s and tell me its not a competitior. It has better interior for me too. They are not meant for older buyers, they are meant for people with a fair bit of cash lying around who desire luxury and for sport they offer AMG, like young entrepreneurs for example. The AMG GT R has no competitor from BMW at all, zero! Tell me thats an old mans car! But I respect your opinion.
2
Jeppe Werring OK to you sure but I love it. The interior looks generations ahead of the golf don't even compare, you have to be blind or be purely hating to say that. Look I respect your opinion but the finish and quality of the c class just cacoons you with luxury that makes it te best interior in the segment for me, truely spectacular and I have sat in all these cars at the auto show so I know which one I liked best
2
***** fair enough
1
Nicholas Mazzi interesting
1
sic22l but the screen could come up automatically when in reverse (when would it ever have to be super instant, really really rare if at all)? And aren't there cars without backup cameras or screens at all?
1
sic22l aha I c, bit y does it have to be super duper instant? When would you need that kind of quick back up camera?
1
sic22l yes I know it's the law but why? What's the idea behind it having to be extremly instant?
1
sic22l oh... :(
1
jeebus2121 it's actually a good interior and caccons you in luxury, the screen is either a hit or miss for people, I personally like it
1
Jeppe Werring yes it is my opinion (I stated that from my very first comment) and its the opinion of many others too, what you said doesn't change my point though. Clearly then you didn't get it. Just because people have a different taste than you does not mean they are blind. I was just pointing how triggered you were.
1
Sandouras ah ok, if you are talking non-amg then ya they are geared towards luxury and efficiency ya i agree. I personally like the chrome touches, to me it makes the car feel a bit more premium for some reason. I like the m3 better than the c sedan but I like the c63s coupe over the m4. I don't think that means tho that it's for older buyers that stereotype is so over used and simply untrue.
1
Emmanuel Wang exactly, exterior wise they nailed it, interior wise I think they we're asleep and the boss told them times up so they applied the ezxact same interior design to most of their line up which I find to be diwappoiting considering how the interior is high quality... Just not in the looks department for me I bet he has never sat in a Lexus before, I have sat in them and they look very nice with high qaulity as well.
1
Jeppe Werring sorry I had to hold my laugh, your statement proves to me you haven't sat in it. The center console is not plastic, it has a nice wood finish or carbon fibre if you choose that option. The BMW looks like every other BMW interior and is outdated. The qaulity is good but the design is out right ugly and horrible IMO, they always have that same stuck trapezoid screen and then the airvents right below and the whole dash board looks Like the other models. The Mercedes in the other hand has massaging seats that can be controlled in far more ways, it has ambient lighting and truely cacoons you in luxury. Personality, how do they lack personality Im very confused. It is a mix of digital and analog to give a nice feel and provide as much information the driver as possible. I still respect your opinion but I am afraid we will have to agree to disagree since we clearly have different tastes (not a bad thing BTW)
1
Jeppe Werring no it's not and so you know C 180 is one of the more lower range options for the c class. Its not plastic I would know having sat in it. Like I said we can agree to disagree and move on since it's clear we aren't going to convince each other any time soon
1
Jeppe Werring haha are you kidding me right now! The Mercedes has magic body control have you ever even heard of it?? "?! It absorbs all the bumps on the road so you literally glide on a cuwhuon of air, many car viewers loved the air suspension on the c class more than the BMW and said the c was more comfortable like car wow. The c class cacoons you with luxury everywhere it's amazing. And the Cadillac also has good suspension and a solid chasi just do you know, check out mother trend to see for your self. So it's the other way around mate, Mercedes is actually light years ahead of BMW especially on suspension
1
Jeppe Werring that's what I am saying, it depends what options your dad optioned and ordered... C180 is the one of the more lower range c classes
1
Jeppe Werring I have sat in the m3 and c63 and both have superb quality there is plastic in both, but it's hidden and not obvious. You would have to do a search through out the whole car to find any plastics
1
Jeppe Werring ya that explains the gap in quality then in your case

***** wrong firs tif all it's not now, they have dine this long time ago. See 1990's c/e/s. Second of all while they undeniably share similar design language they are still very much distinguishable It's only e class and c class that look really similar. S class has crystal lights, c class has single curve light, e class has dual curve lights. S class front has completly different grill than the other two which you are blind if you can tell that, it also has different front and rear diffusers and 3 tail lights as opposed to 2 on the c class. Furthermore it has a lot more chrome and more pronounced depth a proportions So they look similar NOT the same because while they share similar design language they are still distinguishable in their own respect And quite frankly there is absolutely nothing wrong with this kind of design philosophy. Audi and bmw always do this and yet no one complains. 5 series looks like mini 7. All Audi share same grill and design language just differ in the shape if their lights. It's called brand recognition and identity. And as sales indicate people love this kind of thing so it works. So it's not bad at all
