Scirocco ThePunisher you keep commenting that on every video. ONLY the front looks like the cls. That's it.

xIVIx Yes you did say that.... When you say... "Just different lights and lengths" then thats exactly what you are implying. Less effort? The heck would you know about effort. Looks are subjective. So just because you don't like it doesn't make it a bad design. In fact this year the c e and s have been selling incredibly well. So the market has spoken loud and clear. People love the new designs. Its still fun. Especially the Amg versions. They are still unique designs especially the interior as I just explained before. Theh are not generic. They are elegant classy and beautiful. Huge difference. The older ones were way to edgy and boxy. The new ones are much more rounded elegant and classy and far better looking. "Design language " is not overused. Its a timeless phrase. If each car is completely different then their is no identity for the company. So there has to be a use of effective design language. Only the c class and e class look similar while still being very much distinguishable. Every other Mercedes is significantly different looking from the outside. You have to be blind to not tell the difference. Yes you can tell them apart. The a class is significantly smaller for starters and no where near as wide. Furthermore its diffusers are completely different to that of the cls.
6
Definitely not.

Kushal Betgov says the biased BMW fanboy/nutsack ironically. "F off" After you! You hypocritical butthurt snowflake!
5
Tom you're blind if you mistaken this for a cls. Period. Only the front is similar to a cls. That's it. Everything else is vastly different. And the reason they do this is for brand identity and image.... Specifically... The a class will be coming as a sedan which will replace the cla. The cla is like a baby cls....hence the similarity. Its not copy and paste. Its using similar design language. Huge difference.
5
xIVIx then you are literally blind. They are not the same car in different lengths... They are similar not the same. And Yes while they share similar design language they are very much distinguishable from each other. If you couldn't already tell by the massive size difference the s class (especially the face lift) looks completely different from the e and c. S class has three curve headlights, e class 2 curve headlights and c class single curve headlights respectively. S class also has a COMPLETLY different front grill. And each class has completely different front and rear diffusers as well. The s class has 3 taillights while the c and e have 2 taillights. Not to mention the s class has more defined and pronounced depth, body lines and proportions and also has a lot more chrome trim too. And the interiors are significantly different. S class dashboard surroundeds the screens in leather. C class is a floating screen that looks completely different. And e class is a combination of the two which makes sense since its inbetween the c and s... Hence it has the cengre console of the c class and dashboard of the s class however with the screens sticking out more. They are not soulless. You are. Their souls are full of elegance and luxury and have the perfect balance of classy and moderneess to them. Older c class and e class looked absolutely hidious and outdated interior wise and their outsides were far too boxy. These designs are far more elegant. And by sharing similar body language they strengthen brand image and identity. And even though they share similar design language they are still distinguishable in their own respect... Especially interior wise. And frankly there is abosolutly nothing wrong with this design philosophy as sales suggest. Nearly every single manufacturer does this one way or another....by your logic then we can say 5 series is a mini 7 series.... A4 is an a6 just with different lights and shorter length. And these cars are not meant to be flashy... They are meant to be under the radar.... Hence the concept of stealth wealth. So by sharing similar design language.... They are able to blend in better. Furthermore.... This makes sense when you think about it from the perspective of a customer.... Let's say someone is in the market to buy the e class but they don't like the exterior design of the e class but love the c class's exterior design. As a result of this that person may be compeled to go for the c class... And give up the e class and its better interior, and all the additional features and technology it has..... If not go for a different company altogether. So by giving the similar good looking design that person won't have to give up the better interior etc and will still get the design they like. So its a win win for both the customer and the company. So actually its far better than the old ones. New c e s and cls are significantly better than there old predecessors. The old ones look outdated already let alone next to the new ones.

xIVIx Yes you have your opinion just like I have mine. Sure..... most sold car doesn't mean its the most beautiful car. You are twisting what I said. What I mean is that the design overall improved from the last generation otherwise far fewer people would buy it. And yes the new Camry is gorgeous. Absolutely not. The pillars are different from each other furthermore when you look at a car you're not focusing on just the pillars but rather looking at the car as a whole from that angle. And each car has completely different proportions. Whether you like it or not... is an opinion yes (all be it a narrow minded one because face it... No matter what design they would have come out with you would still complain... This happens with almost every new car.... People just cling to the past and don't want to accept change right away)... But to say that the pillars are all the same is not an opinion. It's factually incorrect.

If you're blind.

xIVIx these aren't just ideas. They are logical arguments. And you couldn't counter a single one of them... Which only proves my point.

1.Looks are subjective. 2.they didn't ruin it. Look at the previous a class rear end... It looked far worse. These tail lights are pointy and look much more sporty and atheletic.
4
Gerasimos Rico no you're the one that's stupid for failing to understand why they did that. First and foremost... Its not exactly the same. Its similar not the same. Second of all This strengthens brand image and identity. Thirdly. while the e class and c class do look very similar they are still very much distinguishable. The lights of the e class are dual lines compared to the c classes single lines. And the grill of the e class is completely different as well. Not to mention their is more chrome trim work. And the interior is night and day difference. And frankly their is nothing wrong with this design philosophy as sales suggest. The e class is not meant to be flashy... Its meant to be under the radar... Hence the concept of stealth wealth... So by looking similar to its younger brother... It blends in better while offering a fsr superiror interior and luxurious driving experience compared to the c class. Think of it this way... Let's the two cars look completely different say you are thinking of buying an e class... But you don't its design and like the c class design better... As a result you may be compelled to give up the e class and its significantly better interior etc and go for the not as good c class because of the looks...... If not go for another manuafactorer all together. Where as with this design philosophy..... Its the similar good looking design so you don't have to give up on the e classes better interior. So its actually a win win situation. And frankly nearly every manufacturer does this one way or another. 5 series looks like a mini 7 series. A4 looks like an a6 just with different lights. etc.so frankly there is nothing wrong with this design language philosophy... Nearly all companies do it and it works well for both them and their customers.
4
It has a similar rear end to it for sure but its still very much distinguishable from it. Its tail lights are more pointer and its diffuser is completely different. Not to mention that its rear window hatch is less rounded. So yes it definitely has similar rear end to s cerato but its still distinguishable in its own good way.

Kushal Betgov I am a merc fan not a fanboy. I have have arguements to back up my points unlike you. And I still appreciate what other cars bring to the table.... Where as you are just a pathetic merc hater. By your own logic you are a fanboy you two faced hypocrite. You are biased to bmw in every video. Look in the mirror before you lecture anyone about bias you pathetic hypocrite.
3
Kushal Betgov says he merc hater and BMW fanboy ironically who only hates in Mercedes on nearly video he can. Look in the mirror before you call anyone a child... You're a child in a mans body... Even worse... Heck your mentality is even worse than a child. Even a child is more mature than you.
3
xIVIx you can critize Mercedes... But to suggest that the c e and s are the same car... Makes you blind. Even from design alone... If you can't tell the difference between a s class and the c and e then you are literally blind. Not to mention ignorant since I explained to you that they are similar not the same and explained the reasons why they do this which again.... you failed to counter a single one of my arguments. No surprise there since you never had one to begin with.

CilvēksBezKameras its not the death at all. Its the new generation and era of the cls and its awesome. It looks great. Especially the Amg gt4 which will be replacing the cls63.
3
Rayaan Shaikh no the rear looks great. Its the front that's questionable.
3
MCR 300 its actually beautiful. Front is questionable but rear is nice. And interior wipes the floor with any other interior in this segment.
2
Its beautiful overall. Front is questionable. But rear is gorgeous and interior wipes the floor of any other interior in this segment. So yes its actually beautiful overall.
2
KINGBLAZE812 for front yes. For rear and interior new one is better by far.
2
anarxikos50 hell no it looks hidious. The Germans look way better.
1
anarxikos50 yah a timeless beauty... *if you're blind. So what if the suspension is torson beam? The interior of the a class alone wipes the floor with the alfa. Not to mention in comfort technology luxury etc. Give yourself a break. You clearly need one.
1
R E its going to get a sedan model which will replace the cla.
