  1. It doesn't look ugly. Its not the best looking car but that doesnt make it ugly. It looks nice and simple... Like a modern version of the mcleran f1 or clk gtr. By your logic then the f1, clk gt r and noble look ugly since they share some similarities in design langauge.

"Doesn't look as good as the p1 or 918" And its not supposed to either. However I would say that it depends on the angle. From the front I think p1 looks better for sure (in fact I would even go as far so as to say that p1 has the best looking front of any car imo ...its that good) but from the rear end this project one looks a lot more race car/lmp1 like and atheltic than the p1imo. same goes for the 918. It looks epic and better from a lot of angles but doesn't scream race car as much. However....with the project one.... Its not about the looks so much as it is about the performance.. Overall its nice and simple. Not the best looking but not bad either. Its a hommage to how the clk gtr or mcleran f1 looked (ish) from the front. Lmp1 like design... Where its function over design as main priority.....as even the mercedes ceo said. And the figures alone of Revving to 110000 RPM 0-100kmph in 2 seconds .... 0-200kmph in under 6 seconds are very exciting, far more exiting then what we saw from the p1 gtr or 918! These are f1 and lmp1 figures available to use on the street! So where its not as appealing to the eye it makes up for being more appealing to drive and gives you as close an experience to driving a real f1 car available to use on the street.
