  41. Phillip Lewicki not all bmw air vents look cheap but the ones in the 2 and 3 series look directly from a Toyota or Honda even in person as I have sat in them at autoshows Looking similar is fine... To a certain extent... Not when Evey single model has the exact same design language both interior and exterior(in particular interior). This is especially irritating because when you pay a higher price you don't want to have an interior that looks like every other bmw, you want something special. And what's also annoying is that we all know bmw could do better. Look at porshe they have had the same interior for years... Then came the new panerema where they created a new design and look how much better it looks. This is my issue with bmw, if the interiors didn't look so outdated and similar in every model I would find myself becoming a bmw fanboy rather quickly. Yes c e and s -similar to how 3 5 and 7 look similar - but at least the interiors don't look exactly the same as every other Mercedes... For example you won't find the design language of the s class on any other Mercedes except the (except e.). This gives it a more special feeling which is important when paying that much higher if a price, you want some distinction from the other models... Whereas bmw they all look too similar, IMO bmw could have done more to make the interior of the 7 more special them go with the trapezoid look layout and look.... As a rwult the 7 series shared tok much in Common with it's otjer bmw brothers, lacking the uniqueness to distinguish itself more than other BMW's in a manner that justifies the significantly higher price tag. Once the new merc interiors came the Old merc interiors looked hidious, as simple as that . These new ones look better in every way shape and form. They also come with bigger and better rez screens, ambient lighting and feature a more elegant curvy look rather than straight edgy interior design of the previous models. How do they look teenie??? They look great and many people agree on this even bmw fanboys
