  12.  @cruschkarsten  Russia planned to capture part of Ukraine even earlier, starting from ~2000. Why the largest country in Earth needs even more land is not logically understandable. But if you lived in Russia and knew what big chauvinism they had about the USSR, since only then they country achieved the greatest successes in its entire history, then their ideology can be understood. The best planes were invented in Georgia, the best tanks, with the help of which they won the Second World War in Ukraine, the best Black Sea cruiser was also built in Ukraine ... Needless to say, even the Donbass in USSR was called "iron heart".
