  2.  @Bobisalive  I wonder if rather than the tax cuts, personal allowances had been raised for all so that everyone benefited equally, if there would have been such concern over increasing debt ?

  3. I welcome tax cuts, who wouldn't, but such an inequitable one wasn't clever. Something for everyone through increased personal allowance would have been much fairer, notwithstanding that they would be still need funding by increased borrowing.
