As it's obvious that you never studied law you will be unaware that it was established in 1888 that a limited company is a separate legal entity from it's directors who are employees of that company. Therefore the only assets any creditor can attach are those belonging to the company itself, not the directors personal property in whatever form that may take. I suspect many of the companies concerned will have long been struck off the companies register.

Not as easily done as it once was. You can longer get someone else to front a Ltd company for you. There is now a legal requirement to disclose not only who the directors are but who else has control. Sadly there are always people who have no respect for the law unless it works in their favour.
