  1. Perhaps, but that also applies to a lot of people currently in prison for awful crimes. I dislike Brand intensely, but I do believe he is being deliberately targeted.

  2. Even if a person is found not guilty in court, it doesn't mean they are innocent. However those who deliberately make 100% false accusations deserve to be prosecuted. Have you ever been arrested because of untrue accusations made by a spiteful vindictive woman whose only motive is financial ? I have !

Being found not guilty in a court of law doesn't mean a person is innocent, just that guilt couldn't be proved beyond a reasonable doubt. I disike Brand intensely, but I do believe in this instance he is being targeted by those with a different agenda.

  5. I believe a lot of it and by his own admission he has behaved badly towards women. However proving the current accusations, particularly that of rape, in court beyond a reasonable doubt is a very different matter.

  6. An admirable sentiment but as we all know under the law being found not guilty isn't the same as being innocent. If guilt cannot be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, then the defendant must be found not guilty.

  14. In a court of law guilt must be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, otherwise the defendant must be found not guilty. Note that its never guilty or innocent !
