@andrewfallon2719 Most ordinary working people struggle to get through the month, they have little or no savings.

All there names are freely available on line, just Google them.

@rjones6219 Those who write such comments really don't things through properly.

Do you know why the banks of which there were only two, LLoyds and RBS were bailed out ? Had this not happened confidence in the entire banking sector would have been undermined resulting in many to fail taking the economy and your job with it. The economy cannot function without banks, they provide the lifeblood of business and international trade.
2
@rjones6219 The level of ignorance is rather worrying.

He still has a personal account, the issue is his business account. What do you know of his business dealings ?
2
They are all regulated by the FCA so their procedures will all be very similar.
2
All of them. The issue isn't his personal account, it's his business account they don't want.
1
You do know he still has a current account, its his business account thats the issue. What do you know about his business dealings, I haven't a clue !
1
The banks are owned by shareholders, millions of them including major UK Pension Funds.
1
How deep are your pockets ?
1
Nothing unusual, banks don't like people with adverse credit information they are a bad risk.
1
It's just his business account that's the issue, not his personal account.
1
He still has a personal account, the issue is his business account !
1
@scaryfakevirus It was be very unusual for a bank too close an account without giving notice.
1
@iaincrawford5472 At present there is no legal right to have a bank account.
1
Just like you and me he still has a current account, the issue is with his business account.
1
You do realise this only relates to his business accounts, not his personal account. How much do you know about his business dealings ?
1
Currently it's nine, if he approached twenty it would be all of them.
1
Personal banking isn't how the Banks make most of their profits, it's business. Many would be pleased to lose the accounts of ordinary people.
1
@catherinelw9365 Personal banking is not how the Banks make most of their profits, it's business.
1
Why, this only effects his business accounts and Im sure like me you have no idea what he uses them for or who he deals with.
1
This only relates to his business accounts, not his personal account.
1
All of them, it's only nine so far because he hasn't approached more. You do realise his current account is not effected, its only his business accounts !
1
It's only nine, because that's all he has approached so far. You would need to boycott every bank just to be sure.
1
@robertmarlow255 Probably, but the answer will be the same.
1
Only two banks were bailed out, Lloyds and RBS. The taxpayer then became part owners, although Lloyds have now repaid in full.
1
As I understand it this only effects his business account, he still has a personal account.
1
@ericatkinson9285 The other issue is that it isn't his current account that's effected its his business accounts !
1
So far its nine, when he approaches others they too will reject him, so just assume it's every bank. Remember he still has a personal account, the problem only relates to his business accounts.
1
The money isn't the issue it's where it's comes from that is and obviously your Bank had concerns.
1
So far its nine, when he tries others they too will reject him, so safe to assume that none want him as a customer, in a business capacity.
1
It's not, there is no legal right to a bank account in the UK.
1
The average person will have a mortgage and numerous other D/D's for household bills etc . Have you the time to pay all these in cash and will they allow you to ?
1
So far its nine thats because he hasn't approached any more. Safe to assume it's every bank including yours. However this doesn't effect his current account, the issue is with his business account. I suspect like me you have no idea who he deals with ?
1
@WideCuriosity You are funny and clueless.
