  6. This has very little to do with the increase in the pension age. How many people did you see protesting who were anywhere near retirement age ? Retirement ages for a State Pension are increasing all over the world as people live longer. The alternative is to leave the age at 62 and increase the contributions everyone makes to pay for it. Nothing in life is free !
