Agreed but in terms of cost it represented just £2bn of a £47bn tax cut policy. The UK has too much borrowing, thats the problem.

@IIIIIIPETEIIIIII Agreed and how quick people are to forget the Energy price cap, a tax cut for basic rate taxpayers and a cut in stamp duty which I will also benefit from. For me she is doing ok !

Im a basic rate tax payer getting a tax cut, Im buying a house and will save £2500 on Stamp Duty, if this is betrayal then I want more.

Why would a tax cut costing @ £2bn which was part of a £47bn tax cut package, following a £128bn Energy price cap possibly cause the collapse of the pound ? The UK has too much borrowing, just one too many unfunded policies, that's what cause the pound to fall.
