  4. I was in a potentially similar situation some years ago, but with the benefit of very good advice it was avoided. Any political party that includes the abolishing of IHT in their first budget in their manifesto gets my vote.

  6. Agree, abolish it and increase income tax by 1p in £ to cover the loss of revenue. Give everyone the incentive to leave as much as they can to their children or relatives.

  8. It's tax avoidance, not evasion. Even with these changes farmers are paying half the tax that other people do.

  10. If you have no ambition you will always be on minimum wage. Be prepared to do whatever it takes to be successful.
