  1. He was suspended from the Labour Party. Starmer didn't make him an MP his constituents elected him. As he has been convicted of a criminal offence he may face a recall petition which if successful will result in a By Election.

  4. The maximum sentence for common assault, which is what he was convicted of, is 6 months in custody. For a first offence a suspended sentence is normal.
