  2. Socialist love the big state. The bigger it is the more it costs. You want more hospitals, doctors and nurses, it costs the taxpayer.

  4. No increase since 2017. If fees were linked to inflation they would now be @ £12,000. If you want the State to provide everything for free then expect to pay much higher taxes. You can't have it both ways.

  5. The coalition increased tuition fees from £9000 to £9250 in 2017, now 7 years later they are increasing by £285, so less than 3% in 7 years !

  6. Eligible providers such as Universities are exempt, so no VAT is charged. Private school fees will be subject to VAT.
