An ambitious person would want to be the owner of the house with the letter box you pushed your money through. Labour lacks that ambition.

Watching Labour sitting back and doing nothing is normal.
4
If you think it's solely due to tax cuts you are very naive.
2
Ambition and success to be outlawed.
2
Why would they ? Deals will be done behind the scenes as usual. However much her MP's disagree with her, they disagree with Labour much more.
2
@michaellawrence7570 How naive.
2
Interest rates have been artificially too low for too long. Base rate should be at least 5%.
1
I can see deals being done behind the scenes to ensure it passes through Parliament.
1
Would there be a cost of living crisis or soaring energy prices otherwise. Don't think too hard the answer is no.
1
Yes he would, of that Im absolutely sure.
1
Replace them with multi millionaire pretend socialists like Starmer, Rayner and quite a few others on Labours front bench.
1
I would rather a Tory government irrespective of leader rather than a Labour one.
1
Someone will get a bargain when you are forced to sell. Harsh but true.
1
How when the poor pay little or no tax and receive the most from the benefit systems. Am I wrong ?
1
Did they cause a Pandemic or insist that Putin invaded Ukraine ? The UK's problem is a simple one, it has too much debt and that is what has unnerved the markets. Unfunded tax cuts were simply the straw that broke the camels back.
1
You do know the Shadow Chancellor went to Cambridge.
1
The irony is that the mini budget is criticised because its seen as benefiting the rich and yet the public would now prefer to see a very rich man as PM !
1
Great news. Normal service will be resumed.
1
The Energy price cap will cost 3 times as much as the tax cuts though. Obviously you don't want all tax cuts to go, just the one for high rate tax payers. It was Labour who increased the rate to 45%.
1
Im a basic rate tax payer and Im getting a tax cut and Im buying a property and will pay £2500 less stamp duty. Its a budget for me to !
1
With Putin you would have to keep your opinions to yourself if you wanted to keep breathing. I much prefer Truss.
1
Best reason not too.
1
Did you know that a person earning £150,000 a year even after the reduction in the top rate, pays in excess of 10 times more tax and National insurance than a person earning £30,000 a year. Labour increased the rate to 45%, not the Tories. Like it or not very higher earners make a huge contribution to this countries finances.
1
Markets fluctuate.
1
Labours windfall tax would have raised a lot less than you think and only made a small contribution to the total cost. Significant borrowing would still have been needed.
1
I have no problem with armed police on the street. i would also support longer prison sentences for those who use violence against them.
1
The Chancellor was a Financial Analyst for J P Morgan Chase the world leading Investment Bank.
1
Im buying a house and will pay £2500 less stamp duty and Im just an ordinary person.
1
Did you know that even after the cut in the highest rate of tax a person earning £150,000 a year will still pay in excess of 10 times more Tax and National Insurance than a person on £30,000 a year. Check it out yourself ! how would you feel ?
1
If you think that the sole reason is tax cuts you are very naive. The UK has too much debt, that is what has unnerved the markets.
1
Thats right, the Pandemic and Putins war were personally arrange by the Tories. I never realised they had such power and influence.
1
I didn't realise only poor people had the right to vote ? Is that now Labour policy ?
